JLL names Eric Pang as Head of Capital Markets, China
JLL has appointed Eric Pang as Head of Capital Markets for China, effective January 2021. In his new role, Eric will oversee JLL’s centralised Capital Markets team in China, assuming oversight for the firm’s investment services to domestic and international clients across all sectors, including investment sales, advisory and financing businesses.
Beijing, 10 November 2020 – JLL (NYSE: JLL) has appointed Eric Pang as Head of Capital Markets for China, effective January 2021. In his new role, Eric will oversee JLL’s centralised Capital Markets team in China, assuming oversight for the firm’s investment services to domestic and international clients across all sectors, including investment sales, advisory and financing businesses.
To be based in Beijing, Eric will relocate from JLL’s London office. Since 2015, he has served as Lead Director for the firm’s UK-China Business Group, providing investment advisory and solutions to facilitate cross-border capital flows between the UK, European Union and key Asia Pacific geographies, including China.
Eric joined JLL in 2004 in Beijing and was the firm’s Head of Capital Markets, North China, prior to moving to London. To his new role, Eric brings over 20 years of real estate investment experience and close relationships with Chinese institutions, investors, occupiers and property companies.

To maximize JLL’s offering to clients, Jim Yip will assume the role of Head of Investment Sales for China and continue to lead the East China Capital Markets team, based in Shanghai. Michael Wang, currently Head of North China Capital Markets, will become Head of Investment Sales in Beijing. JLL’s Capital Markets team in China has over 100 professionals based in major cities nationally.
